At Spring Spur we have developed training and management practices that recognise the unique working environment of our horse team. An environment of wild mountain landscapes, steep and narrow tracks, bush camping with light weight electric fencing, nose bags, wild brumbies and sometimes wild weather.
Our team can safely transport riders of all levels of ability into this remote landscape with enthusiasm, safety and fun. As Kath's grandfather said of horses, "the day you think you know everything is the day you never put your foot in the stirrup again."

A picturesque 18-hole golf course situated in the scenic Kiewa Valley of the Alpine High Country, that is just 40 minutes from the ski fields and summer resort of Falls Creek, 30 minutes from Bright, and one hour from Albury Airport.
Consisting of 18 well maintained greens, we offer a Par 72 course that challenges good golfers yet has a beginner friendly scratch rating of 71 and a Slope of 118 (White Tees). Easy EFT payment system available at the Clubhouse for your green fee convenience, and $35 for all day golf is a bargain. We also have Carts for hire – book one here
We invite social groups, corporate groups and green fee players to enjoy the golfing challenge and the natural beauty the course has to offer. Players often share the course with an audience of kangaroos and yellow tailed black cockatoos, and in winter take in the views of the snow-capped Mount Bogong.

Conveniently located on the corner of Lakeside Ave & Pool Rd, Mount Beauty the facility features an intermediate pool, a 33 metre pool, as well as an outdoor toddler pool with ample lawn area surrounding the pool.

Starting from the Big Hill Mountain Bike Park, off the Bogong High Plains Road, the 2.8-kilometer return walk (approximately 1.5 hours) is rated as a Grade 3 trail, making it suitable for most fitness levels, though some bushwalking experience is recommended.
The walk follows the Aqueduct Track and leads to a swing bridge crossing the West Kiewa River. Beyond the bridge, you can explore historical features like an old mining adit (a horizontal shaft) and enjoy views of the canyon. On warm days, the area offers swimming opportunities, including a natural swimming hole upstream.
The Gorge Walk also serves as a reminder of Mount Beauty’s connection to the Snowy Mountains power scheme, as the river’s flow may increase due to hydroelectric operations. For safety, avoid entering the river if the rocks are wet or slippery or if you’re not a confident swimmer.
